The design in the centre is another Gabby Ridley. This one was also a collage made of her own photos of mid-century Swedish glassware. Spliced, repositioned, then reassembled.
I absolutely love this print, the colour, the bold shapes, the texture, the artiness. Clients often say that they love the fact that we do things that are far from the madding crowd, we take time and are very deliberate about our artwork. A real work of art.
On either side are two different prints made by another of our fab freelancers, Salvatore Caponec.
Salvatore makes the most sublime, analytical drawings of flowers, a flower obsessive, describing the detail and volume for each bloom, feel showing the structure of the flower like an architect might. These drawings take time, concentration, thought, and a huge amount of skill. I met Salvatore first in a flower shop-funny that! We got chatting and I couldn’t quite believe it when he first started sending his drawings to me.
