Hello!

I’m Eileen Gleeson and my team of textile designers create inspiring contemporary print designs for fashion and interiors.

We have been looking at fabulous art, great exhibitions, and wonderful books. These references guide us in our efforts to create beautiful images and textures. We buy flowers (lots of them!) and spend hours drawing and painting these real-life examples of beauty. These inspirations inform our aesthetic. We create unique work.

I founded Design Union after a decade working in the textile studios of France, London and New York. I now live in London where our studio is based.

We work with brands and mills across the world — from high street to catwalk — and exhibit regularly at Première Vision in Paris. Our approach is research-driven and concept-led. Each season we develop new collections that push boundaries in print and mixed media, delivered as layered Photoshop files ready for production.

We exhibit at the major textile trade shows and are represented internationally in Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, India, Korea, and Turkey.
