2. Definitions

– “licence” refers to the permission granted to you to use a purchased design under the terms set out at the point of sale.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1. All designs, artwork, images, and content on this website are the original work of Design Union and are protected by UK and international copyright law until sold.

3.2. Upon receipt of full payment, copyright in the purchased design is assigned exclusively to the buyer. This assignment will be confirmed in writing. Once assigned, Design Union retains no rights to use, reproduce, or resell that design.

3.3. Until full payment is received, all intellectual property rights remain with Design Union and no licence or assignment takes effect.

3.4. Designs displayed on this website or in our portfolio that have not been sold remain the exclusive property of Design Union and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our prior written consent.

3.5. If you require a formal assignment agreement or certificate of copyright transfer, please let us know and we will provide one.

4. Orders and Payment

4.1. All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. International customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or import charges in their own country.

4.2. An order is confirmed only once payment has been received in full and you have received a written confirmation from us.

4.3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded in full.

4.4. We accept payment via [list your accepted methods, e.g. bank transfer, PayPal, Stripe]. Payment details will be provided at checkout.

5. Delivery of Designs

5.1. Digital design files will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout, typically within 5 business days of payment being confirmed.

5.2. We take reasonable care to ensure files are delivered in the agreed formats (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, PDF, JPEG, TIFF). If you experience any technical issues with received files, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve them promptly.

5.3. Physical samples or printed items, where offered, will be dispatched by post or courier within 5 business days. Delivery times for international orders will vary.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

6.1. Due to the digital nature of our products, we are generally unable to offer refunds once design files have been delivered and downloaded.

6.2. If a design file is materially different from what was described or agreed, or if it arrives in a format that is corrupted or unusable, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include providing a corrected file or issuing a refund.

6.3. For physical goods (if applicable), you have the right to cancel and return items under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Please notify us within 14 days of receipt. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty.

6.4. Custom or bespoke design commissions are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless we are in breach of our agreement.

7. Bespoke and Commission Work

7.1. Commission enquiries are subject to a separate written agreement, which will detail scope of work, timelines, fees, and licensing terms.

7.2. A deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before final files are released.

7.3. We retain the right to display commissioned work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free.

8.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Design Union shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from the use of our designs or this website, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational damage.

8.3. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

9.1. You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to it or its content.
